Project Scope
In 2017 MCA Engineering were mobilised to provide experienced project supervision, personnel and specialist equipment for the re-start of operations at Newcrest’s Cadia East Underground mine in Orange NSW following a 3.7 magnitude seismic event.
The damage that occurred as a result of the event was significant and all U/G operations were suspended until rehabilitation had taken place, whilst several U/G contractors were mobilised MCA took the lead role in rectifying the damaged ground.
