MCA Engineering, a preferred partner of BMD for Inland Rail (P2N) level crossings, successfully completed the following work:
- 12 months – 42,000-man hours lost time injury free
- 2 x site wide safety recognitions (General Site Safety and Implementation of Ergonomic Tooling)
- Highest grossing FRP contractor (due to workload achieved)
- 4500 m3 structural case and apron concrete
- 300 m3 structural road culvert concrete
- 23 level crossing concrete treatments
- 98 cast-in concrete wing wall treatments
- Modification of 3 x existing culvert sites to lift ballast walls and re-deck
- 8432 link plates supplied and installed
- 2-4 person crew assisting with cell landing, tape, and grout 12 months
- Various fabrication and installation work from MCA’s comprehensive workshop facility
